Mattias Sundquist
Board member, CTO and co-founder
Background
Mattias is an agentic engineer with more than six years of experience in full-stack development. He holds a bachelor's degree in systems development from Malmö University, runs the development company DigiSund and is based in the Malmö region. He has worked both in large development teams and as the single person responsible for leading and developing projects. His experience spans the entire path from requirements and technical choices to a finished application, including larger projects for Swedish regions.
Why I do this
Mattias is the technical driving force behind GRANSKA and builds the objectivity engine – the engine that underpins the platform's reviews.
He turns the review methodology into a working system and is responsible for keeping the technical foundation solid as the platform evolves and more reviewers are added. The methodology must be possible to follow and the system possible to maintain over time.
Area of responsibility
As CTO, Mattias is responsible for GRANSKA's technology, architecture and technical development. This covers the objectivity engine, the application and how the platform's parts work together. He is responsible for ensuring that technical decisions support the product's needs and provide a stable foundation for continued development.
How he works
As an agentic engineer, Mattias applies his knowledge of programming fundamentals and system architecture to optimise the application and streamline the work of AI agents. The focus is on planning, architecture and technical decisions. With AI agents as a central part of development, he combines his experience of building systems with new possibilities to carry out and quality-assure the work.
Security and reliability
Mattias values security and reliability highly. This shapes both how the systems are designed and how development is run. He insists that solutions are secure and that features and changes are tested and verified. Correctness must be demonstrable through checks and tests, and quality assurance is part of the work throughout the development process.
